How Stead works

— Case study

We helped six friends find and move into Enterprise House

A group of six friends approached us with the vision of forming a fully mutual housing co-operative. Together, we found a suitable property: a converted ammunition factory between London Fields and Victoria Park.

We helped them navigate the process, from registering the co-op with the FCA to securing a multi-year, rent-controlled lease. With our support, they were able to establish a stable, long-term home and put down roots in the neighbourhood.
